You are a few steps away from being part of the
People to People International
legacy!
“Granddad felt very strongly that everyday citizens of the world wanted peace and could attain it much more effectively without government interference or representation…Having seen the slow impact government had, he realized that world peace had to come from the soul of human nature and that governments could not dictate the human heart, only reflect it…Our organization is a form of proof that he was right.  Decades later, we are still working very hard to accomplish what he saw as the solution.”
-- Mary Jean Eisenhower, President & CEO of People to People International
and Granddaughter of former US President, Dwight Eisenhower
We are glad that you are here today wanting to know more about People to People International  (PTPI) activities and joining our worldwide members to promote international understanding and friendship through educational, cultural and humanitarian activities.
What are Chapters?

Chapters are the backbone of PTPI as they actualize the idea of increasing international understanding and friendship at home and abroad. Chapter members create community action by hosting international visitors and supporting a variety of special programs. There are hundreds of PTPI Chapters throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. There are three types of Chapters; Student Chapters, University Chapters and Adult Chapter. There are some differences between the types of chapters. For Student Chapters, members should be between 13 - 18 years old; University Chapter, members should be 18 years old or above and university students; Adult Chapters, should be members above 18 years old.
