On September 17, 2009 - PTPI's Cairo, Egypt (Pharaohs of Peace) Chapter has visited 57357 Children Cancer Hospital Egypt, the hospital is the biggest in the Middle East/Africa region providing free care to children who have cancer. The chapter officers had a pre-visit with the hospital officials to know the needs of the hospital; the chapter officers got a list of medicine that the hospital needed. The chapter is very proud to have collected 9000 Egyptian Pounds ($1640) and bought all the required medicine to the children as well as toys and sweets to distribute during their visit to the children. During the visit, most of the chapter members had money collected from their friends, relatives and parents; almost the same amount that was fundraised by the chapter was donated in cash by the chapter members to the hospital.
