EGYPT ~ September 11-16, 2008
PTPI's Middle East/Africa Office hosted its first Middle East/Africa Regional Conference with the theme Inspiring Youth to Take the Lead. The event, which was held in Cairo, Egypt and at the Red Sea, brought together members and officers from the region for chapter development sessions, discussions about regional awareness and opportunities to build lifelong friendships.
Conference participants reported on their chapters' efforts to PTPI’s President and CEO Mary Jean Eisenhower via interactive PowerPoint presentations. They also had a chance to meet with Mary at the conference's opening dinner. PTPI's Vice Chair of the Americas Barbara Capozzi attended the closing dinner.
